Hi there,
the answer to this would be B serious.
I think this is because the way they describe the Black Snake it look like its serious all the time. If you look back at your poem you will see context clues about the story and the characteristics of the Black Snake.
Hope this helped :)
Have a great day

Answer:
:) I did some small changes to make things more clear
Explanation:
Characters: Mr. Jack's, Kate, Mr. Jack's Bulldog
Setting: Late afternoon in a field outside the airport force field
Conflict: The need for food, water, etc. and a mirror to break through other potential force fields. --kate ended up using a broken mirror to finally escape, she knew this would work to break through any other force fields.
Rising Action:
1. Finding a truck used to deliver food to the airport
2. Shattering the mirror in the truck
Climax: The characters used the shattered mirror from the delivery truck in order to break through the force field
Resolution to Conflict: After breaking the force field, they were finally able to access the warehouse where all the stored airport food is and they finally escaped for freedom
Theme: Never give up, even when things appear to be hopeless-- Kate initially tried several times to escape but often failed. She never gave up and kept being persistent until she was finally able to escape along with Mr. Jacks and his dog.
