Sorry But I can't understand what − means so i will solve this for x+3 and x-3
first for x+3
equation e= x(x+3)(x+4)>0
so points are x= 0,-3,-4
for range x<-4
e<0
for -4<x<-3
e>0
for -3<x<0
e<0
and for x>0
e>0
so the interval when e>0
x â (-4<x<-3 and x>0)

now for x-3
equation e=x(x-3)(x+4)>0
so points are x= 0,3,-4
for range x<-4
e<0
for -4<x<0
e>0
for 0<x<3
e<0
and for x>3
e>0
so the interval when e>0
x â (-4<x<0 and x>3)

You are sitting on the ground flying a kite.
Neko [114]

Answer:

Height of the kite = 36 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Triangle attached in the figure shows the complete picture,

I am sitting at point A, string connecting the kite and me is side AC, height of the kite from the ground is side BC and side AB representing the distance between me and the kite.

Length of side BC = h

Length of side AC = 39 feet

Length of side AB = 15 feet

By applying Pythagoras theorem in ΔABC,

AC² = AB² + BC²

(39)² = (15)² + h²

h² = 1521 - 225

h² = 1296

h = √1296

h = 36 feet

Therefore, kite is at 36 feet height.

A statement that is assumed to be true without proof is a(n) Theorem

A statement that has been shown to be true by vigorous application of logic is a(n) ---> Conjecture

A(n) Axiom is a statement that is believed to be true but hasn't been proven.

What's the big difference between a definition and a theorem?

A definition is both a precise and a general statement of the significance of a mathematical term.

It does this by laying down all of the characteristics of the word together with the structures that need to be true.

This is how the meaning of the word is defined. A mathematical assertion that can be demonstrated using logically sound mathematical reasoning is called a theorem.
