Hello!

The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo officially ended the war but it also stated that Mexico would cede some of it's lands for $15 million. That made the US grow and it allowed settlers to live in this new lands.

You can feel free to let me know if you have any questions regarding this!
Thanks!

What was Hitler's excuse for mass producing tanks, submarines, and planes in Germany, even though it went against the Treaty of
NemiM [27]
He used the excuse of protecting his own nation.

Treaty of Versailles banned Germany from using much armed force, and limit it's army to 100000 men, along with the rules of not allowing navy, air force and limited the amount of heavy weapon.

When Hitler took over Germany,he used the excuse of defending from other nations to start producing weapons, navy and air force again as it was greatly disarmed and unable to protect itself if invasion occur.

Hope it helps!

aleksklad [387]
Had to look for the missing options and here is my answer.

The foreign crisis that is being described above is the one in Haiti. This is when President Clinton committed U.S. troops to be the leader of a multinational force in order to regain a democratically elected president. This also led to sending former president Carter to be the one who will negotiate. Hope this helps.
