Answer: -5y - 2x = 31

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for calculating  equation of line when two points are given is :

\frac{y-y_{1}}{x-x_{1}}= \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}

x_{1}=7

x_{2} = 2

y_{1} = -9

y_{2} = -7

Substituting the values into the equation , we have

\frac{y-(-9)}{x-7} = \frac{-7-(-9)}{(2-7)}

\frac{y+9}{x-7}  = \frac{2}{-5}

cross multiplying , we have

-5(y+9) = 2(x-7)

-5y-45  = 2x - 14

-5y - 2x = -14 + 45

-5y - 2x = 31

olga2289 [7]
C) 5s - 0.2s is not equivalent.  This would be paying for 5 snakes and subtracting 20% of the price of one snake, not 20% of the price of all 5 snakes.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok so first we need to look and rule out the ones that are not correct like 9m and 5m. ok now we ruled out 2 of the wrong ones and now we have 90m and it looks like a 45m. now we multiply 5 x 2 x 9 which equals 90. so the answer is 90.
