Ok, first off can I just tell you how much I love Percy Jackson! ok anyways I think that Poseidon is very proud of Percy and believes in him because he says "<span>You did well, Perseus. Do not misunderstand me. Whatever else you do, know that you are mine. You are a true son of the Sea God."
I think Percy didn't petrify Gabe when he had the chance because he respected his mom and he wanted her to be the one that has a say, after all it was her relationship. I don't know about you but I might have done the same thing and waited to give him one more change before i finished him off</span>
