I think a way the country is in danger is because in the text it states, “ then the president Thieu appears, tan and sweaty… Then he cries actual tears and wiped, facing the camera.” This means that the president is nervous for some reason, which might mean he is nervous about how the country is right now. He is also crying and not wiping his tears away which means something is definitely wrong.
