Answer:

D. Coding is computer programming that, when studied at a young age, can lead to future benefits.

Explanation:

Sentence D is the topic sentence that most effectively introduces Erick's essay because it focuses on the concept of coding and its future benefits when learning it early in life in a general way, which allows the author to explore and give more detailed information about what those benefits are in a more extended way. Likewise, this option is correct because it is precise, has a relation with the thesis, and tells the reader what to expect from the following paragraph.

The other options are incorrect because they narrow their scope to certain specific benefits that coding can give.

Which of the following was an important element of romantic literature?
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]
The answer is personal and spiritual exploration because romantic literature was meant to make the mind wander into romantic stories of love and romance where one found out more about themselves while falling in love. At least, that is my best guess since it's certainly not supposed to be rational and well reasoned ideas, it's not about religion, and I don't think it's supposed to empasise on society.

Screech! When a driver pushes on the brake pedal, it initiates a process that causes the vehicle to
zubka84 [21]

This question is incomplete, here´s the complete question.

Screech! When a driver pushes on the brake pedal, it initiates a process that causes the vehicle to  stop in motion. We literally trust braking systems with our lives every time we get into a vehicle or

cross at a busy intersection. How does this life-critical process work? It begins when the pedal is  pushed. At this moment brake fluid is reljased into the braking mechanisms. As the fluid collects,  this creates a leverage, which causes a friction to be applied. This friction will create a force that  will cause the wheels to stop and allow you to reach your destination safely. Beep! Beep!

What is the main/central idea of the passage?

How a braking system functions on an automobile

Trusting automotive braking systems

Brake fluid being released in the area where the breaking mechanisms are

There is no main/central idea

Answer: How a braking system functions on an automobile

Explanation:

This passage´s main idea is not meant to focus on brake fluids or the trustworthiness of braking systems.

The main idea is how braking systems work as a whole. To do so, the passage describes the process that ensues since pushing on the brake pedal and until the vehicle stops, including the brake fluid being released, creating leverage and friction that make the wheels stop.
