The Whiskey Rebellion

History
1 answer:

d. The answer is D because the whiskey rebellion took place from 1791, when a tax over distilled spirits (mainly whiskey in that time in the U.S.) became law, intended to generate revenue for the Revolutionary War debt. It ended three years later, in 1794, when President Washington led a force of over 13,000 men against some 500 violent protesters in Pennsylvania.

This fight, that didn't really take place, led to the formation of two well defined political parties in the United States, the Federalist group stopped being the hegemonic one, making Thomas Jefferson (of the newly formed Republican party) the next president

What event, more than any other led to WWI?
Solnce55 [7]

While there was much buildup pre-World War I, it is commonly understood that the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand on 28 June 1914 in Sarajevo pushed the world to war as a result of a complex web of treaties and diplomatic obligations that quickly were triggered and resulted in sides being chosen.

Britain’s forces had all of these advantages going into the American Revolutionary war EXCEPT A) more military experience. B) mo
azamat

D is the correct answer.

The British Army was the far superior force. The British Navy was the far superior force. Britain was also a manufacturing powerhouse.

But the British Army was fighting to preserve something while the Revolutionaries were fighting for their rights and to start something new.

This question is delightfully biased but it is true that the Americans, by and large, were more committed to the fight.
