Answer:

1/8

Step-by-step explanation:

ok so before i start i wanna say that this is gonna get confusing.....

Since the pizza is a whole quantity let us take it as 1.

Harry ate half of the pizza therefore the fraction that Harry ate = 1/2 of 1

= 1/2 × 1 = 1/2

Therefore fraction Harry ate = 1/2

Fraction of pizza left = 1 - 1/2 (LCM = 2)

= 1/2

Jacqueline ate 1/2 of what was left.

So, Fraction of pizza Jacqueline ate = 1/2 × 1/2 = 1/4

Therefore fraction of pizza left after both Harry and Jacqueline ate =

1 - (1/2 +1/4) = 1 - 3/4 (LCM = 4) = 1/4

Therfore fraction of pizza left = 1/4

Stanley ate 1/2 of what was left.

So, fraction of pizza Stanley ate = 1/2 × 1/4 = 1/8

Therefore, fraction of pizza left after all three of them ate =

1 - (1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8) = 1 - 7/8 (LCM = 8) = 1/8

I hope this helps .......i know this is rlly confusing but i dont know how else to put it : )

Have a nice day!

Answer:

General Formulas and Concepts:

<u>Calculus</u>

Limits

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1: Define</u>

<em>Identify</em>

<em />\displaystyle  \lim_{n \to \infty} s(n)<em />

<em />\displaystyle s(n) = (\frac{5}{4n^4})(3n^5 + 3n^4 + 2n^3 + n^2)<em />

<em />

<u>Step 2: Evaluate</u>

  1. Substitute in function [Limit]:                                                                           \displaystyle  \lim_{n \to \infty} (\frac{5}{4n^4})(3n^5 + 3n^4 + 2n^3 + n^2)
  2. Multiply:                                                                                                             \displaystyle  \lim_{n \to \infty} \frac{5(3n^5 + 3n^4 + 2n^3 + n^2)}{4n^4}
  3. Power Method:                                                                                                 \displaystyle  \lim_{n \to \infty} \frac{5(3n^5 + 3n^4 + 2n^3 + n^2)}{4n^4} = \infty

Since the degree of the polynomial is greater in the numerator than in the denominator, the top will always increase faster than the bottom, thus getting infinitely larger.
