The Economic Cycle is a theoretical explanation about the behavior of the economy, which changes between moments if expansion with prosperity and retraction with loss of economic and social welfare.

1.) It can be harder to find a job during an economic depression: Surely this can happen. An Economic Depression is a time of severe crisis in which many companies fire employees and go bankrupt. In an Economic Depression a high level of unemployment is expected.

3.) People tend to make more money during times of prosperity: Yes, in times of prosperity economic activity works at full steam, unemployment level is low and average income of the population increases. Thus, people and businesses thrive.

5.) Prices in gas and food will tend to increase during a time of prosperity: Yes, in times of prosperity demand for goods and services increases. Consequently, by the law of supply and demand, when the demand for a good increases, its price increases. This applies naturally to the price of gas and food.

Answer:

1.) It can be harder to find a job during an economic depression.

5.) Prices on gas and food will tend to increase during a time of prosperity.

Explanation:

The bussines cycle is what we call the downward and upward of the gross domestic product of a nation, this means that it should have ups and downs and there will be depressions where jobs will be lost and it will be harder to get jobs, and when there´s prosperity the prices of food and gas will increase to take advantage of prosperity.

Which of the following is an accurate comparison of the two court cases?Baker v. Carr (1961) - Shaw v. Reno (1993)A. Ruled that
madreJ [45]

Answer:

(B) Led to the "one-person, one-vote" judicial doctrine - Prohibited oddly-shaped majority-minority districts

Explanation:

Baker v. Carr (1961) is a Supreme Court case concerning equality in voting districts. Decided in 1962, the ruling established the standard of "one person, one vote" and opened the door for the Court to rule on districting cases.

Shaw v. Reno (1993) In 1991, a group of white voters in North Carolina challenged the state's new congressional district map, which had two “majority-minority” districts. The group claimed that the districts were racial gerrymanders that violated the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. In its 1993 decision, the Supreme Court agreed, ruling that race cannot be the predominant factor in creating districts.

In a self-fulfilling prophecy, the assertion was originally _____, and becomes _____.
Nat2105 [25]

In a self-fulfilling prophecy, the assertion was originally "false", and becomes "true".

A self-fulfilling prophecy is a forecast that specifically or in a roundabout way makes it turn out to be valid, by the very terms of the prediction itself, because of positive input amongst conviction and conduct. Robert K. Merton made this term in 1948 to portray a bogus meaning of the circumstance bringing out another conduct, which influences the initially false origination to be true.

How does school help to solve social problems?write

motikmotik

Answer:

hope it helps

Explanation:

Education plays an important role in the evolution of a nation.

Today, people are warming up to the idea of education being instrumental in an all-rounded development of a person instead of just being a course to earn degrees and monetary success in life. It is broadly accepted that learning plays a key role in shaping one’s personality.

We get to know the world around us through education. It helps us build opinions and develop a perspective of looking at life. It forms the groundwork of any society and is one of the most important elements in addressing social problems.

A social problem is an issue or a factor within the society that affects the real world. Gender inequality, poverty, child abuse, unemployment, racism and discrimination based on religion are some of the many social issues prevailing in our society.

As a child, we make sense of the world in terms of right and wrong, good and bad. But as we grow up, we tend to understand the world in more complex ways. School is the foremost source of knowledge. From the early stages, we are exposed to different cultures and traditions. We also gain communication skills, we get to interact with different kinds of people, we are introduced to several opportunities and interactive projects.
