Samad's age and his father's age

Mathematics

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let x= time period in years between age now and when  father's age=2* the samad's age

in x years father's age will be 40 + x years old

in x years samad's age will be 12+x years old

at a certain point in time, the father's age = 2*the samad's age

40+x=2*(12+x)

or, 40 +x=24 + 2x

or, 40-24 = x

   x=16

test:

father=40+16=56

son=12+16=28

hence , after 16 years samad's father will be twice as old as samad

16 because 40-12=28 and Samad will be 28 on 16 years. In 16 years his father will be 56 which is double of 28.

A regular square pyramid just fits inside a cube (the base of the pyramid is congruent to a face of the cube and
zlopas [31]
Volume of reg sq. pyramid = vp
vp = 1/3×s^2×h, where s = side and h = height
Volume of cone = vc =1/3×h×pi×r^2
Now we know that h is the same for both, and the cones diameter = s of square base, so radius (r) = 1/2 s
so now vc = 1/3×h×pi×(1/2s)^2
let's remove the same items for both vc and vp
so 1/3 and h
now let's plug an arbitrary number into each:
vc = pi (10/2)^2 = 3.14×25 = 78.54
vp = s^2 = 10^2 = 100
So any square pyramid has slightly more volume than the cone

An empty rectangular tank measures 60 cm by 50 cm by 56 cm. It is being filled with water flowing from a tap at a rate of 8 lite
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:

21 min

Step-by-step explanation:

V = lwh

V = 60(50)(56) = 168000 cu. cm

8 liters = 8000 cu cm

168000/8000 = 21 min.
