Why must the structures (organelles) inside a cell be close to the cell membrane?
Citrus2011 [14]

Within the nucleus is a small subspace known as the nucleolus. It is not bound by a membrane, so it is not an organelle. This space forms near the part of DNA with instructions for making ribosomes, the molecules responsible for making proteins. ... The cell membrane is represented as the "factory walls." If a trait is x linked, it is more likely to show up?
pychu [463]
It depends.... lets say that a mom is a carrier of colorblindness, so only one of her sons will have colorblindness and one of her daughters will be a carrier but if it is on both X's (of the female's) then both of her daughters will be carriers and her sons will both be colorblind.

What is found in group 1 and 4 on the Periodic table
Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

Group 1 - Alkali metals; Group 4 - Elemental Properties

Explanation:

The elements in Group 1 are called Alkali metals and those are: Lithium, Potassium, Rubidium, Celsium, Francium and Sodium and the elements in Group 4 are called: Titanium, Hafnium, Zirconium and Rutherfoundium.

It's important that group 4 has no trivial name like the group 1 does, it belongs to the grouping of transition metals and those metals have several general properties. They are found in the middle of the periodic table.
