Economic, cultural, and ideological differences were some of the problems unified Germany faced in 1990. Eastern Germany lost a lot of the money during currency conversion. Industrially the east was lacking and did not and could not produce as many products as the west could. Eastern Germany was damaged way more than Western Germany and was repaired at a slower rate than Western Germany. The railroads were not modernized as well as other technologies such as highways, and telephones. Due to the Berlin Wall politically and culturally the Eastern and Western Germans began to do believe and do things differently.
The term Anabaptist means "one who baptizes again". Anabaptists are Christians who rejected infant baptism in favor of believer's baptism.They believe that baptism can only be valid if the petitioner confesses his faith in Christ and is willing to be baptized. Since many of these Reformation Era Christians have already been baptized when they were infants, they opt to be rebaptized as believing Christians.This believer's baptism is opposed to infant baptism because infants are not able to make conscious decisions to be baptized or not. Thus baptismal candidate must make a confession of faith that is freely chosen before any baptismal could take place.

Although somewhat basic in physical structure and combining different grades, schools taught reading, writing and mathematics. However, as opposed to home teaching by parents that themselves were not highly educated, the public schools were formal and structured. After establishing elementary schools, the government also expanded to high schools.</span>
