Answer: = 0.444\pm 0.111

Step-by-step explanation:

The confidence interval for population proportion(p) is given by :-

\hat{p}-E  (1)

It is also written as : \hat{p}\pm E         (*)

The given confidence interval for population proportion :

0.333 (2)

Comparing (1) and (2) , we get

Lower limit = \hat{p}-E=0.333 (3)

Upper limit = \hat{p}+E=0.555  (4)

Adding (3) and (4) , we get

2\hat{p}=0.888\\\Rightarrow\ \hat{p}=\dfrac{0.888}{2}=0.444

Put value of \hat{p}=0.444 in (2) , we get

0.444+E=0.555\\\\\Rightarrow\ E=0.555-0.444=0.111

Put values of \hat{p}=0.444  and E= 0.111 in (*) , we get

Required form = 0.444\pm 0.111

Find two postive numbers such that the ratio of the two numbers is 5 to 3 and the product of the two numbers is 540.
svet-max [94.6K]

Answer:

337.5 and also 202.5

Step-by-step explanation:

do 8x = 540 since 5 and 3 are in a ratio... so you get 5x plus 3x. Then you solve for x and get 67.5..67.5 times 3 is 202.5 and 67.5 times 5 is 337.5.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! (ALGEBRA II)
qwelly [4]

Answer:

-4     4     4.5     8     20.5     32

Step-by-step explanation:

f$ \circ  $ g(x) = f(g(x))

Given,   f(x) = 2x²

and       g(x) = x - 2

Now f(g(x)) = f(x - 2) = 2(x - 2)²

We know that (a - b)² = a² - b² + 2ab

Using this we expand f(g(x)). We get:

                        f(g(x)) = 2{x² - 4x + 4}

Similarly,        g(f(x)) = g(2x²) = 2x² - 2

Now, f(g(-2))    = 2[(-2)² - 4(-2) + 4]     = 2(16)                           = 32.

Also, g(f(-2))   = 2[(-2)² - 2]                = 2(2)                             = 4.

f(g(3.5))  = 2{(3.5)² -4(3.5) + 4} = 2[12.25 - 14 + 4] = 2(2.25)    = 4.5.

g(f(3.5))  = 2{(3.5)² -2} = 2{12.25 - 2}                     = 2(10.25)   = 20.5.

f(g(0))     = 2{0 - 4(0) + 4}  = 2(4)                                               =  8.

g(f(0))     = 2{0 - 2}                         = 2(-2)                                 = -4.

Arranging them in ascending order, we get:

-4     4     4.5     8     20.5     32 would be the sequence.

110 as a product of prime numbers
sweet [91]
110 = 11 \times 10

110 = 11 \times \ 5 \times 2

So it is the product of 5 \times 2 \times 11

And 2,5 and 11 are prime numbers, so there you go :)
