Which of the following is a minority ethnic group in several countries despite occupying a large area of the region?

A. Jews.

Although mainly concentrated in Israel, according to Jewish Data Bank, Jews represent a 44% of the total of Israeli population (Jewish Data Bank, 2016). Due to the Holocaust, the Jewish population suffered huge losses. Decades later, the population increased, but its growth has remained stagnated, and hasn't reached the level prior to the Holocaust. This is one of the reasons that the Jewish population, despite presenting large percentages in Israel and the United States, remains a minority in several countries.

natulia [17]

C. French defeats in Haiti ruined Napoleon's plan to build an empire in America.

Napoleon decided that holding a empire outside Europe would be too costly, drain too much resources and spread his troops out too much. He decided to drop most of the colonies & sell the Louisiana to the US not only as to be able to have more money to fund his wars, but also to give the UK a rival for the future.
