Answer:

When you add an irrational and rational number the sum becomes irrational as well.

Alright so let's pick an irrational number I'm gonna say pi. A rational number, let's go with 1. Pi plus 1 is about 4.14 rounded to the nearest hundredth. How about multiplying? It's pi still cause anything times one equals itself.

PLEASE HELP!!! I'll mark brainliest! and lots of points! ( I need help, I don't understand any of this!)
Misha Larkins [42]
So for this there is going to be two equations; One showing how much they earned total and one showing how much more Garth made.

Let x mean how much Sandi made and y mean how much Garth made.

The first equation is going to be x+y=425

The second equation is going to be y=x+25 .

I'll be using the substitution method since that is already set up for it. So in the first equation substitute y for x+25 since the second equation tells us that is the equivalent to y.

And your equation should look like this: x+x+25=425 . From here you can solve for x.

Combine like terms to get 2x+25=425

Subtract 25 on each side to get 2x=400

Divide 2 on each side to get x=200

Now that we had got what Sandi had earned, we can substitute x for 200 in either equation to solve for y. I'll be solving for y in the second equation.

y=200+25 \\ y=225

To sum it up, Sandi earned $200 and Garth earned $225.

Answer:

Angle

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, the figure is in the final step of construction. So, it will have only two rays which as we can see are emerging from a common point.

So, it represents an angle.

An angle has two rays arising out of a common vertex point.
