1). He was kidnapped and sold into slavery.
2). He was bought by a naval captain and taken to Europe.
3). While in the Caribbean he was strung up by a slave trader who was trying to enslave him.
4). He worked to get the number of slaves on a ship lowered leading to a lot of hatred towards Olaudah.
5). H<span>e became involved in setting up a new plantation colony on the coast of Central America. Equiano did everything to comfort the condition of the enslaved people brought to work on the plantation. Equiano himself was badly mistreated by the plantation owners.</span>
