Find BM please !!!!!!!!!!

Mathematics
1 answer:
omeli [17]4 years ago
6 0

M is the centroid and the centroid divide the line in 1:2 ratio . So M divide BQ in 1:2 ratio and the total length of BQ is 18.

Therefore BM is one third of 18 . ANd one third of 18=6

So BM =6 and MQ=12 .

Equivalent answers for 64 to the power of 2/3
madreJ [45]

Answer:

16

Step-by-step explanation:

Dealing with a fraction exponent on hand can be converted by using the fractional exponents rule where the fraction exponent is converted to something like this:

64^\frac{2}{3} = \sqrt[3]{64^{2}}\\

As you can see, the denominator of the fractional exponent is now the index of the radical. Here is a guide to know what goes where.

64^\frac{x}{y} = \sqrt[y]{64^{x}}

Both the original problem (64^2/3) and the converted formula can be put into a calculator.

<u>Simplify (if you want to)</u>

<u />\sqrt[3]{64^{2}}\\\sqrt[3]{4096}\\16<u />

<u />

64 to the power of 2/3 is 16.

A table is on sale for 464 , which is 36% less than the regular price.
viva [34]
The original price was 725.
Explanation:
"36% less than" means taking 36% away from 100%. 100-36 is 64, so 64% remains when 36% is taken away. So, 64% of the original table's price is 464.
So, if the original price was x, 464=0.64x
Solve this by dividing both sides by 0,64:
725=x
So, the original price was 725.

In the circle below, AD is a diameter and AB is tangent at A. suppose mADC=228. Find the measures of mCAB and mCAD. Type your nu
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

m∠CAB = 66°

m∠CAD = 24°

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>m∠CAB</em>

The given parameters are;

The measure of arc m\widehat{ADC} = 228°

The diameter of the given circle = \overline{AD}

The tangent to the circle = \underset{AB}{\leftrightarrow}

The measure of m∠CAB and m∠CAD = Required

By the tangent and chord circle theorem, we have;

m∠CAB = (1/2) × m\widehat{AC}

However, we have;

m\widehat{AC} + m\widehat{ADC} = 360° the sum of angles at the center of a circle is 360°

∴ m\widehat{AC} = 360° - m\widehat{ADC}

Which gives;

m\widehat{AC} = 360° - 228° = 132°

m\widehat{AC} = 132°

Therefore;

m∠CAB = (1/2) × 132° = 66°

m∠CAB = 66°

<em>m∠CAD</em>

Given that  \overline{AD} is the diameter of the given circle, we have

The tangent, \underset{AB}{\leftrightarrow}, is perpendicular to the radius of the circle, and therefore \underset{AB}{\leftrightarrow} is also perpendicular to the diameter of the circle

∴ m∠DAB = 90° which is the measure of the angle formed by two perpendicular lines

By angle addition property, we have;

m∠DAB = m∠CAB + m∠CAD

∴ m∠CAD =  m∠DAB - m∠CAB

By substitution, we have;

m∠CAD = 90° - 66° = 24°

m∠CAD = 24°
