Culture would impact the demand for jobs in agriculture depending on the value a group of people places on agriculture. In most African cultures, for example, agriculture is highly valued and even some agricultural seasons are celebrated, an example is the New Yam festival celebrated by the Igbos in Nigeria. For such cultures, the demand for jobs in agriculture would be high because it is a treasured part of their lives.

However, for cultures that view agriculture as a strenuous activity, and place more emphasis on white-collar jobs, the demand for agricultural jobs in such climes would be low.
