Why do you think england was such a strong power in Europe during the industrial revolution?
AlexFokin [52]

In the nineteenth century, England was able to use its already powerful merchant navy to sell the huge amounts of manufactured products made by the factories built as a result of the Industrial Revolution and the invention of steam-powered machines that enabled workers to work faster and yield a greater production than ever before. The economic power obtained through trade made it possible for England to conquer more countries where it could sell its products with no competition.

Explain the historical circumstances that led to the actions described in the excerpt above.
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

The main historical circumstance that has led to the infodemic related to current pandemic is that information technology, the internet, and social media, have spread so fast to a majority of the world population, that all kinds of information, from scientifically-backed claims, to pseudoscience or bogus claims, can reach a worldwide audience in very brief periods of time.

Because a large number of people do not have enough critical thinking skills, or only interact online with people that hold the same views that they do, misinformation can spread easily, and lead to the creation of conspiracy theories with millions of followers.
