G^5 -g = g(g^4 -1)=g(g^2 -1)(g^2 +1) = g(g-1)(g+1)(g^2 +1)

24g^2 -6g^4 = 6g^2(4 -g^2) = 6g^2(2 -g)(2 +g)

Answer:

The polynomial which is factored completely is  2g^2+5g+4 as these are not further factored.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find : Which polynomial is factored completely?

Solution :

We factor the given polynomial one by one,

1) g^5-g

g^5-g=g(g^4-1)

g^5-g=g(g^2-1)(g^2+1)

g^5-g=g(g-1)(g+1)(g^2+1)

2) 4g^3 + 18g^2+20g

4g^3 + 18g^2+20g=2g(2g^{2}+9g+10)

4g^3 + 18g^2+20g=2g(2g^{2}+5g+4g+10)

4g^3 + 18g^2+20g=2g[g(2g+5)+2(2g+5)]

4g^3 + 18g^2+20g=2g(2g+5)(g+2)

3) 24g^2 - 6g^4

24g^2 - 6g^4=6g^{2}(4-g^{2})

24g^2 - 6g^4=6g^{2}(2-g)(2+g)

4) 2g^2+5g+4

This expression is can not be factored with rational number as

D=b^2-4ac\\D=5^2-4(2)(4)\\D=25-32\\D=-7

Discriminant D<0 so there is no rational roots.

So, The polynomial which is factored completely is  2g^2+5g+4 as these are not further factored.

Answer:

D) 6

Step-by-step explanation:

set Q has 16 values which are all even values from 4 to 36

set Z has 11 values that are multiples of 3 from 4 to 36 (6,9,12,15,etc.) however, we have to eliminate the odd ones, leaving the following six:

6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36

Jake charges $15 per hour for swim lessons. The cost is per student. Is the amount of money jake makes per hour proportional to
V125BC [204]

Answer:

Hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Jake is being paid $15 an hour, not per child.

Say he has five children, three stay for one hour, two stay for two hours. If he's getting paid per hour, then he'd earn $105. But, if he gets paid per child he'd only make $75 dollars.

But since it says that he gets paid per HOUR, it would be proportional to how much money he makes.

The formula for the volume of a sphere is V=(4/3) (pi) r^3. if r is doubled then you get 2r as the radius and V=(4/3) (pi) * 8r^3 so the volume is eight times bigger than the original  r  value. if r is tripled the r =3r  and (3r)^3 so the volume is 27 times bigger. If r  is multiplied by  n  the radius is  nr  and (nr)^3 =n^3  r^3, Therefore, the volume is n^3 times bigger than the original.

Given the functionf(x)=0.5(3)^x, what is value of f-1(7)
gogolik [260]
Ok, a fun hack

if f⁻¹(a)=b then f(b)=a

so if f⁻¹(7)=b then f(b)=7

to find b, find x such that f(x)=7

7=0.5(3)^x
times both sides by 2 (or divide both sides by 0.5)
14=3^x
take log₃ of both sides
log_3(14)=x

f^{-1}(7)=log_3(13)
