so, we get

n+d=9

we know that

and

1 dimes =$0.10

so, total amount is

=0.05\times n +0.10\times d

we are given

total amount =$2.15

so, we get

0.05n +0.10d=2.15

so, we get system of equations as

n+d=9

0.05n +0.10d=2.15................Answer
