2. Hernando de Soto is known for being among the first Europeans to cross the great Mississippi River. Starting their journey from Mexico they traveled nearly 4,000 miles in search of riches into the southeastern United States.
3. Ponce de Leon in the year 1513 embarked on a journey across the Atlantic Ocean from Puerto Rico down into the Gulf of Mexico.
4. Vázquez de Coronado journeys were mainly within a large portion of North America, which took them through Hawikuh.
Their name itself says it all - they are pure, and they wanted their country and countrymen to be pure as well. They opposed everything which had to do with entertainment and wanted everyone to lead a good and reputable life devoted to God.
The American Revolution was disastrous for the Iroquois. The confederacy, as such, refused to take part in the conflict but allowed each tribe to decide for itself, and all the tribes, except the Oneida, joined the British.
The Treaty of Versailles that formally ended World War One, imposed reparations of 132 billion gold marks on Germany. The payments had to be made mainly to France and Britain. The amount was exorbitant and the German economy was so troubled in the 1920s that it could not pay those reparations.
