It is not B. The transitive property says (in beginning algebra classes) that a = b and b = c then a = c
It is not C. The associative property for multiplication involves brackets and the order in which you do things. a(b*c) = (a*b)*c So on the right side of the equals you would multiply a and b together and when you have an answer, you would multiply that answer by c. On the left side, you do the brackets first and then multiply by a. The answer is the same in both cases.
It is not D. a*b = b*a is what that property means. You do not need to concern yourself with which number you put into your calculator first.
