<h2>a</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Let t be the number of ounces of caramel that has to be added to each scoop of ice cream.

So,for n scoops,there has to be n\times t ounces of caramel.

It is given that for every 5 scoops of ice cream,3 ounces of caramel has to be added.

So,5\times t=3

and t=0.6

For 8 scoops of ice cream,there has to be 8\times t=8\times 0.6=4.8 ounces of caramel added.

But Freeze Zone adds 6 ounces of caramel.

So,Ari thinks that Freeze Zone adds more caramel

svetoff [14.1K]

we know that

in the right triangle of the figure

Applying the Pythagorean Theorem

13^{2} =b^{2} +7^{2} \\ b^{2} =13^{2}-7^{2}\\ b^{2}=120\\ b=\sqrt{120} \ cm

therefore

the answer is the option

C) b=\sqrt{120} \ centimeters

What is the equation of a line, in point- slope form, that passes through (5, -3) and has a slope of 2/3?
Alika [10]
<h3><u><em>Option B</em></u></h3><h3><u><em>The equation of a line, in point- slope form, that passes through (5, -3) and has a slope of 2/3</em></u></h3><h3><u><em /></u>y + 3 = \frac{2}{3}(x -5)<u><em /></u></h3>

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

<em><u>The equation of line in point slope form is given as:</u></em>

y - y_1 = m(x-x_1)

Where, "m" is the slope of line

Given that,

slope = 2/3

m = \frac{2}{3}

The line passes through (5, -3)

Substitute m = 2/3 and (x_1, y_1) = (5, -3) in point slope form

y - (-3) = \frac{2}{3}(x -5)\\\\y + 3 = \frac{2}{3}(x -5)

Thus equation of line in point slope form is found

Given f(x) = 10 -2xfind f(7). –4 3 7 56
strojnjashka [21]

Answer: f(7)=-4

Step-by-step explanation:

1. You have the following function given in  the problem:

f(x)=10-2x

2. Then, to find f(7) asked in the exercise, you only need to substitute x=7 (which is the input value) into the given function.

3. Therefore, keeping the above on mind, you obtain that f(7) is:

x=7

f(7)=10-2(7)

f(7)=10-14

f(7)=-4
