Pangaea was a giant continent, it had almost all the continents we know as today. Pangaea later broke apart because of the plate tectonics and Africa separated from South America, India separated from Antarctica, North America separated from Europe, Australia moved away from Antarctica,  and India moved away from Madagascar. India also later ran into Eurasia forming the Himalayas.
