What was the columbian exchange?

History

On addition to the other answer posted, the Columbian exchange also traded slaves from Africa to Latin America as well as brought diseases to the natives, a large factor in the death of natives in the New World...which led to Africans being brought there. The Spaniards needed workers and the natives they enslaved were dying of disease and poor treatment, so they imported replacements. Guess I'm getting off topic.

The Columbian Exchange was when the old world (Europe) trade with the new world (America) items. for example: Old World had horses. So if Europe never came to America... we wouldn't have them. Or new world had tomatoes. If Europe didn't have tomatoes... We wouldn't have pizza or delicious Italian goods.

What is a consequence of cultural absolutism?
Katen [24]

The correct answer is - B. Being intolerant of other cultures.

The cultural absolutism in essences is a situation in which one culture totally dominates in a society. The dominant culture is not allowing the other cultures to come to surface, suppresses them, and tries to destroy them, be it gradually or as quickly as possible. The cultural absolutism often creates tensions between people of different cultures, so the members of the dominant culture tend to be more aggressive towards people that have and practice other culture, with the violence also being a part of it. This type of occurrence is mostly witnessed in countries in which either a far left or far right is on charge and controls the things.
