50 mph is correct. The 45 minute round trip is actually useless information in answering this question. You can divide 60+40 by 2 or in this case, when you only have 2 numbers to look at, you can find the median and the median will be the same as the mean. Unless you’re very comfortable with finding averages, I wouldn’t suggest calculating this by the median, but that is what I did because I’m very familiar with the pattern of finding means.

valina [46]

Answer:

x=-1.83

Step-by-step explanation:

1-2x=4(x+3)

1-2x=4x+12

-2x=4x+12-1

-2x=4x+11

-2x-4x=11

-6x=11

x=11÷-6

x=-1.83

Tony made 2 fruit pies. After his family ate some of each pie, 13 of one pie remained and 56 of the other pie remained. About ho
omeli [17]

Answer:

<h2>There remains 7/6 of pie.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Givens

The remaining parts are 1/3 of one pie and 5/6 of the other pie.

To find how much pie is remaining, we just need to sum those fractions.

\frac{1}{3}+\frac{5}{6}=\frac{6+15}{18} =\frac{21}{18} =\frac{7}{6}

Therefore, there remains 7/6 of pie. They ate just 1/6.
