Answer:

We only need to calculate the 15% of 44.99 and 49.99 and sum them, for that, we have to multiply each number by 0.15:

44.99 * 0.15 + 49.99 * 0.15 = 14.27

He saved 14.25 (you should put the unit it's).

We could also have done a rule of three (which is what we have really did before)

44.99 - 100%

   x     -  15%

x = \frac{15*44.99}{100} =. 6.75

49.99 - 100%

    x     -  15%

x = \frac{15*49.99}{100} = 7.5

6.75 + 7.5 = 14.25

The amount of tax for each camera is $5.25 and the tax rate is 6%. Explain how the equation: (Original Cost)(Percent) = Tax Amou
Degger [83]

x(1.06)=5.25

The reason it is 1.06 is because it is the original cost plus tax. You can divide each side by 1.06 to get x roughly equals 4.95.

So $4.95 is roughly what the camera costs rounded to the nearest cent.

Can someone simplify pls
algol [13]

we are given to simplify

\\ \ (x^6y^5)(5xy^2)(-6x^4)\\ \\

Open the bracket and write the like terms together

\\ \ =x^6y^5*5xy^2*(-6)x^4\\ \\ \ =-30x^6*x*x^4*y^5*y^2\\ \\

when the bases are same then the exponents gets added

\\ \ =-30x^{6+1+4}y^{2+5}\\ \\ \ =-30x^{11}y^7
