I hope I can get my thoughts on this topic explained correctly and clearly! A lot of times, people use what they hear in magazines or newspapers that contains skewed information and they believe that. Like, during the U.S. presidential election, for instance. A lot of false information about candidates, good and bad, was published. That in itself could change many people's votes about certain candidates, as well as thoughts about their integrity. Hypothetically, if someone was voted in based solely on those who voted because of incorrect information they read, we would probably have someone unfit to fill their roll. Let me know if you need more ideas.
