Answer:

6.34%

7.19%

9.45%

12.00%

Explanation:

FV = PV *(1+rate)^tenor

-> Rate = (FV/PV)^(1/tenor)-1

PV: $330; tenor: 4 year; FV: $422

->  Rate = (422/330)^(1/4)-1 = 6.34%

PV: $450; tenor: 18 year; FV: $1,571

-> Rate = (1571/450)^(1/18)-1 = 7.19%

PV: $48,000; tenor: 19 year; FV: $266,917

-> Rate = (266917/48000)^(1/19)-1 = 9.45%

PV: $47,261; tenor: 25 years; FV: $803,425

-> Rate = (803425/47261)^(1/25)-1 = 12.00%

Is it possible to decrease inflation without causing a recession and its concomitant increase in unemployment? The orthodox answ
NeTakaya

Answer:

The answer is: E) It would not necessarily be considered high elsewhere

Explanation:

Usually the inflation rate in the US and Europe is around 1-3%. In the early 1980's the US inflation rate was above 10% so it was considered huge. But if you consider it against inflation rates in other countries, like Argentina for example, which currently has an annual inflation rate of over 60% then it wasn't that big. During the 1980's many countries suffered from hyperinflation, with monthly inflation rates of over 50%.

So the high inflation rate in the US and Europe wasn't necessarily high for other countries.

Leto [7]

Answer:

Total cost per unit is $77

Explanation:

Fixed manufacturing overhead per unit = Total fixed manufacturing overhead ÷ Number of units

= $478,800 ÷ 34,200 = $14 per unit

Fixed selling and administrative expenses per unit = Total Fixed selling and administrative expenses ÷ Number of units

= $171,000 ÷ 34,200 = $5 per unit.

Total cost per unit = Direct material + Direct labor + Variable manufacturing overhead + Fixed manufacturing overhead + Variable selling expenses + Fixed selling expenses

Total cost per unit = $15 + $5 + $11 + $14 + $5 + $5 = $55 per unit.

Markup = 40% of total cost = $55 × 40% = $22

Therefore, total selling price per unit = Cost per unit + Markup

= $55 + $22 = $77 per unit.
