Answer:

y = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

You can do this either with the unit circle or the sine function (if you know it).

Method One

Sin(30) = opposite / hypotenuse     Definition

  • opposite = y
  • hypotenuse = 8
  • Sin(30) = 1/2

1/2= y/8            Multiply both sides by 8

1*8/2 = y

y = 4

Method two

The unit circle will tell you that sin(30) = 1/2

1/2 = y/8

Done the same way as above

y = 4

Definition: A __________________________ is your list of all income and planned expenses.
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

personal budget

Step-by-step explanation:

Drawing up a budget is a good way to plan your expenditure based on how much money you expect to receive. Budgets are often estimates, because you cannot easily include unexpected expenses in a budget. However, you can plan to save some money that you can use in the event of an unexpected expense. Budgeting includes normal monthly budgeting and budgeting for particular expenses, such as an expensive item that you want to buy, a project or a trip overseas.
