If the line is perpendicular, that means the slope has to be opposite, so it will have a slope of -1/2

Fill in the point that it has to pass through on y and x

1=-1/2(0) + b

1=0+b

1=b

Then go back to the standard form y=mx + b and fill in the slope and y intercept

Y= -1/2x + 1

Answer:

y =  x + 1

Step-by-step explanation:

the equation of a line in slope- intercept form isy = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y-intercept )y = - 2x + 2 is in this form with slope m = - 2given a line with slope m then the slope of a line perpendicular to it is = -  = -  = the point (0, 1 ) is the y- intercept ⇒ c = 1y =  x + 1 ← equation of perpendicular line

Three shoppers from the survey are selected at random, one at a time without replacement. What is the probability that none of t
Travka [436]

Answer:

0.395

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the probability that none of the three shoppers purchased electronics is shown below:

So, first we have to determine the number of shoppers without considering the purchase i.e

= Total number of shoppers - electronics

where,

Total number of shoppers = Offices supplies + electronics + clothing + beauty supplies - electronics

= 18 + 25 + 40 + 12 - 25

= 95 - 25

= 70

Now the probability is

= \frac{70}{95}\times\frac{69}{94}\times\frac{68}{93}

= 0.395

ANSWER ONE AND TWO ILL GIVE YOU BRAINLIST!!!
Dima020 [189]

Step-by-step explanation:

1.

Radius of of the table cloth = diameter/2 = 30/2 = 15 inches

Area of the table cloth

A = \pi r^2 \\\\= \pi (30)^2 \\\\= \pi\times 900\\\\= 900\pi

Area of the table cloth = 900\pi\: inches^2

2.

Radius of circular garden = 3 m

Area of circular garden

A = \pi r^2 \\\\= \pi (3)^2 \\\\=\pi\times 9\\\\=9\pi

Area of circular garden =9\pi\: m^2
