The difference between plant cells and animal cells is that most animal cells are round whereas most plant cells are rectangular. Plant cells have a rigid cell wall that surrounds the cell membrane. Animal cells do not have a cell wall.
To clearly view the morphology of the prokaryotes, one needs a microscope with higher resolution i.e magnification of ×100. Use of oil for this purpose is important because it reduces the refraction of light as it travels from air to glass. this process increases the resolution of the microscope making it possible to view morphology of bacteria.

The blue visible light waves have a shorter wavelength than the red visible light waves. Since both the waves travel at the speed of light, which is a constant for a particular medium, their frequencies will be inversely related to their wavelength. This is given by the formula: speed = wavelength x frequency. Thus blue visible light will have a higher frequency than the red visible light.
