Should american students be mandated to learn more than just one language?

Its more of how people want to be taught, yes spanish and french are both two important languages but there are a lot more. In my opinion, yes I think they should teach us more than one language because it will be useful in the future, we could learn mandarin for example and it would be very useful if you were to be in a job that is international. But what I'm trying to say is it really depends on your point of view.
