Mariulka [41]

Answer:

Charlemagne.

Explanation:

After the fall of the Early Roman Empire in 476 BC, the kingdom of Europe fell into the hands of many small kingdoms. But after about three centuries after that, King Charlemagne began his reign and helped unite a large part of Europe into his kingdom.

King Charlemagne was the king of the Franks who came to the throne in 751 BC. His rule began with the plan to unite all Germanic people under his power. He also made it a point to convert the subjects from the captured places into Christianity, thereby propagating the religion on a large scale. That was one of the reasons why Christianity emerged strongly during the Roman empire.

Thus, the correct answer is King Charlemagne.

N which of the following conflicts did the distribution of ethnic groups act as a centripetal force?
quester [9]

The following conflicts were

 • The ongoing Cyprus dispute: is a conflict between the two communities that coexist in the island: Turkish and Cypriots (connected to the Greek culture). There was a Turkish military invasion in 1974, when the Turkish occupied the Northern third of the island and self-declared the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, only recognized by Turkey nowadays. In fact, the Republic of Cyprus is recognized in the international community and a single legitimate state, that comprises the whole island.
 • Former Yugoslavia: the ethnic conflict in fact led to the Yugoslav Wars and to the disolution of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1992. The different republics that formerly constituted Yugoslavia (he SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SR Croatia, SR Macedonia, SR Montenegro, SR Serbia and SR Slovenia), declared their independence, even tough there still existed internal ethnic tensions on each.
 • Iraq: ethnic conflicts due to the divisions between the Sunni and Shi'ite factions in Iraq. Concerns emerged with the arrival of Sadam Hussein to power. The conflict stills ongoing nowadays.

How is this map different from a typical map of the us
Annette [7]
Thank you for posting your question here at brainly. I was able to check for the map. It would be easier to say how it is similar, since there are so many differences.
But i guess the most obvious difference is that the mapmaker changed the real names and added Irish references. Maybe it's meant to be "if Ireland colonized Eastern North America instead of England".
