The somewhat divine thing or right of kings states that the king was picked by God and acts through God while he has control of the the throne on Earth. Macbeth commits the sin of regicide (usurpation) when he kills Duncan. This goes against the divine right of kings because Macbeth kills God's earthly lieutenant on the earth

Mrac [35]

Answer:

b. To prevent the monsters from jumping onto his house.

Explanation:

Richard Matheson's fictional novel "I Am Legend," tells the story of a young scientist named Robert Neville and his efforts to save the world from a plague that turned every living being into monsters. And in that effort to help rid the world of the plague, he also had to fight and overcome the barrage of attacks from these monsters lying in wait for him.

Neville, whose blood is immune to the infection, tries to help find a cure. But along that journey, he also encountered numerous monsters who lay in wait for him to make a mistake and be taken over. And knowing that the monsters come every night to his house, he decided to burn down the neighboring houses so that these monsters won't jump into his house.

Explain why the topic of indulgences is closely related to Luther's criticism of the Catholic Church. Your response should be ab
Kitty [74]
Alright, this would't amount to an entire page, but this can be the thesis of the paper. This is how indulgences work: people pay the priests money (or with items) so that their sins will be "forgiven". Basically, the sacrament of confession is paid. The Bible does not instruct us to do things this way. Luther saw this as corruption and based his arguments against the Catholic Church mainly on this concept.
