Answer: 1) 150 square cm

2) 70.71 square cm

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Here, the side of the cube = 5 cm,

Also, the surface area of a cube = 6\times (side)^2

Thus, the surface area of the given cube = 6\times (5)^2

= 6 × 25

= 150 square cm,

Thus, the total area which is painted = 150 square cm,

2) Since, After cutting the cube along the diagonal we get two prism that having rectangular base that is not covered by paint,

And, the dimension of the base of a prism after cutting the square = 7.071 cm × 5 cm,

Thus, the area of the base of the prism = 7.071 × 5 = 35.355 square cm

⇒ The total area of bases of the two prisms after cutting that is not covered by paint = 2 × 35.355 = 70.71 square cm

The mean would typically be the best measure of determining the success of this business. Barring the presence of any outlier values, finding the average number of cameras sold per period (week, month, year, etc.) would give a better picture than the range or mode. The median could be used, but it is a bit less descriptive than the median in this instance.
