The most appropriate answer would be reuse.

The materials which can not be recycled are usually reused in order to reduce pollution.

For example, plastic bags, jute bags, glass containers et cetera are reused as many times as possible.

The materials which can neither be reused nor recycled are discarded in the garbage. These materials are then dumped at garbage dumping site.
