1. over the past two decades, studies have shown that offending among women has increased globally. why do you think this is?

Explanation:

1. I think that women globally are starting to show their sensitivities towards comments, actions, and laws that directly affect them which is leading to more getting offended. I also believe that it's becoming more socially acceptable to state what's bothering you and some women who experience discrimination or even just a mean comment are feeling more and more like they are allowed and should state that the actions of others are offensive.

2. I don't believe that's the reason. On the contrary I believe that more crime would be committed by women if they were to increase the gender gap. I do think there are other sound reasons for the increase in female offenders but again I do not believe that Frieda Alder's suggestion is even accurate.

I hope I was of help!

What were the findings of Professor Land and his colleagues' death penalty deterrence study of homicides in Texas from January 1
RSB [31]

Answer:

Modest short term deterrent, but will need mass executions to be effective

Explanation:

The question has already been answered but I guess you need an explanation.

In the deterrence theory by Professor Land and his colleagues, they assumes that offenders are rational, I.e. they know the law and the penalties attached to defaulting the law..

They're are three points to take note of in this study;

1. For execution to have a deterrent effect, then it means a huge number of execution must have taken place

2. Most of any deterrent effect of execution of homicide occurs immediately after the execution is made public

3. 5 to 10 homicides would deterred in a year if there are 10 to 20 executions using 0.5 homicides deterred on a monthly basis.

The costs of a completed job are transferred from the work-in-process inventory account to the finished goods inventory account.
AURORKA [14]

Answer: True

Explanation:

The materials that are used during production consist of the beginning raw materials inventory and the purchases, which is less the ending inventory. Then, this amount will be added to work in process inventory.

It should be noted that for the cost of the goods sold, when the job is completed, the costs will be transferred from the work in process inventory to the finished goods inventory.

Therefore, the answer is true.

Answer:

They said that this was protected under the First Amendment.

Explanation:

In 1971, the New York Times was trying to publish classified Pentagon papers but the government under President Richard Nixon was trying to force the newspaper to cancel that publication. The Supreme Court ruled on this matter and said that the First Amendment that refers to the freedom of speech or of the press protected the right of the New York Times to publish the documents. According to this, the answer is that they said that this was protected under the First Amendment.
