How do I even do number 14 and what is the answer?

Start by solving the inequality for r. You do this like you would solve any other two step equation:

*Subtract 7 from both sides*

r/4≥-1

*Multiply both sides by 4*

r≥-4

To graph this, you will start at -4. You need to determine whether you will draw an open or a closed circle at -4. An closed circle is drawn when the inequality is greater than or equal to (it includes the value at the circle).

Draw a closed circle at -4.

Next, you need to determine which way to draw the arrow. If it is greater than, you draw an arrow to the right; if it is less than, the arrow is to the left.

Draw an arrow to the right.

Hope this helps!

Step-by-step explanation:

1/4 r+7≥6

Step 2: Subtract 7 from both sides.

1/4 r+7−7≥6−7

1/4 r≥−1

Step 3: Multiply both sides by 4.

4*(1/4r)≥(4)*(−1) r≥−4

Answer:

r≥−4

Which undefined geometric term is described as a location on a coordinate plane that is designated by an ordered pair, (x, y)?
jolli1 [7]

Answer: D. Point

A point is a location. On the 2D coordinate plane, it's described by (x,y). Think of it like an address or like latitude/longitude. A point is an undefined term in geometry as it doesn't build off of smaller elements.

How much would it cost to buy 3 medium sodas and 2 hot dogs
Vesnalui [34]

To start off you need to figure out how much money each item costs. Now get out your calculator because it will make this process go much faster.

EXAMPLE:

If your sodas cost $2.25 EACH you need to do the following math equation

2.25 X 3 = 6.75 witch is the total you would be paying in this situation.

HOT DOGS EXAMPLE:

Lets say that your hotdogs are $4.75 PER DOG. You just need to follow the same steps above.

4.75 X 2 = 9.5 but thats not how we write money so it would be $9.50

Hope this helps,

Daniel

Rosy waxes 2/3 of her car with 1/4 bottle of car wax. At this rate, what fraction of the bottle of car wax will Rosy use to wax
balu736 [363]

Hey there! I'm happy to help!

We see that Rosy uses 1/4 of the bottle to wax 2/3 of the car.

We need to 1/3 more to wax the entire car.

1/3 is half of 2/3.

We used 1/4 bottle for 2/3 of the car.

Therefore, we need half of 1/4 bottle for 1/3 more of the car.

1/4×1/2=1/8

We add this to the original 1/4 to see the total amount we used to wax the entire car.

1/4+1/8=3/8

Therefore, Rosy will use 3/8 of the bottle of car wax to wax her entire car.
