I'm not sure if I'm interpreting what you need correctly without more information.

If 3 is also degree:

x= unknown #

Set up a proportion. 2 is to 20 as 3 is to x.

2/20 = 3/x
cross multiply
(2*x) = (20*3)
2x= 60
divide both sides by 2
x= 30

2 degrees= 20
3 degrees= 30

Hope this helps! :)

Which fraction is bigger 5/8 or 7/15
Lapatulllka [165]
To compare, you need to bring them to a common denominator by mupliplying each by the denominator of the other one.

Like this:

\frac{5*15}{8*15}=\frac{75}{120}

and

\frac{7*8}{15*8}=\frac{56}{120}

and among the two, 75 is bigger than 56, so the first fraction (5/8) is bigger!

knowing the points a(1, 6), b(−5, −2), c(−1, −5), and d(5, 3), and that segment ab is parallel to segment cd, what is the length
denpristay [2]
Length of a line given two points is given by:
 l=
\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}  \\ AB= \sqrt{(-5-1)^2+(-2-6)^2}  \\ =
\sqrt{(-6)^2+(-8)^2}  \\ = \sqrt{36+64}  \\ = \sqrt{100}  \\ =10 \\  \\
CD= \sqrt{(3-(-5))^2+(5-(-1))^2}  \\ = \sqrt{(3+5)^2+(5+1)^2}  \\ =
\sqrt{8^2+6^2}  \\ = \sqrt{64+36}  \\ = \sqrt{100}  \\ =10
Since |AB| = |CD|, points A, B, C, D form a parallelogram.
