The reason why the he Shah of Iran was allowed to come to America for medical treatment, option B. to receive medical treatment. Before this revolution the Sha of Iran was the Persian  monarch but he had to flee the country in January of 1979. He fled the country because he was very ill and seeked leaving the country for tretament for humanitarian reasons.  Despite the treatment he passed. The royal reign collapsed shortly after and the Islamic government was installed into power.
