Poverty can be defined as not having sufficient income to fulfill a person's needs while absolute property means that there is a total lack of means for meeting the basic personal needs, personal needs include clothing, food, and shelter. The relative poverty occurs when people cannot achieve the minimum living standards. Governments across the globe try to reduce poverty by providing basic needs and strategies such as welfare and economic freedoms raise the living standard. According to a recent World Bank report, about 33 percent of people in South Asia live below the poverty line.
