Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Marina burns calories at a rate of 15 calories per minute when running.

Let she runs for r minutes.

Therefore, number of calories burnt in r minutes running = 15r calories

Now it is given that she exercises for 60 minutes, in which she runs for r minutes so remaining time for walking will be = (60 - r) minutes

Calories burnt in walking is given as 6 calories per minute

Therefore, calories burnt in (60 - r) minutes walking= 6(60 - r) calories.

Finally total calories burnt in exercising for 60 minutes will be represented by [60r + 6(60 - r)] calories.

15r means that she burns 15 calories per min, for as many mins as she ran.  EG: if she ran for 10 min, then she burned 150 cals.  The other one I'm not so sure.

Consider the following cumulative probability distribution.
Marat540 [252]

The solution  P(x \leq 4),p{x= 3), p(2 \leq * \leq 4)  is mathematically given as

  • P(2 \leq X \leq 4)=0.84
  • P(X=3)= 0.17
  • P(2 < =X\leq 4)=0.53

<h3>What is the solution P(x \leq 4),p{x= 3), p(2 \leq * \leq 4)?</h3>

Generally, the equation for the Probability of P(X=3) is mathematically given as

b)

P(X=3) = P(X \leq 3)-P(X\leq 2)

Therefore

P(X=3)= 0.65-0.48

P(X=3)= 0.17

c)

P(2\leq X\leq 4) = P(X\leq 4)-P(X\leq 1)\\\\\\P(2\leq X\leq 4) = 0.84-0.31'

P(2 < =X\leq 4)=0.53

a)

P(2\leq X\leq 4)=0.84

Find the value of x.
Irina-Kira [14]
The 2 angles are complementary angles and need to equal 90 degrees.

Making an equation we have:

4x-10 + x = 90 degrees

Add like tems:
4x +x = 5x

Now we have:
5x-10 = 90

Add 10 to both sides:

5x = 100

Divide both sides by 5:

x = 100/5

X = 20
