The area that the Great Basin Culture Area covers state-wide between the Rockies and the Sierra Nevada can be told as pretty much all of<em> Nevada</em>, almost the entire west half of <em>Utah</em>, a considerable part of central <em>Oregon</em>,reaches up to the Sierra Nevada in <em>California</em>,and a small part in <em>Wyoming and Idaho.</em>

The boxer rebellion although could not succeeded but still it was able to instill the sense of nationalism among the people. This rebellion mainly targeted those people that were trying to spread the European culture within the country and the Manchu dynasty. This group was mainly started by the peasants in Northern China in the year 1898. This secret society practiced martial arts and boxing and were of the opinion that they could stop bullets with their skills. The people of this group were driven by nationalism alone.

How did shelters of American Indian tribes in the northeast differ from those in the Great Plains?

<em>I think the answer is A.</em>

<em>The reason I say this is because Northern American Indians had access to more trees (depending on where in the North) and they would commonly use baby saplings to not only make tools but their frames for animal hide houses (not exactly Tipis these were shaped like boxes). In the Great Plains there wasn't exactly that much wood but there was however mud, and this led to some of the natives using mud to make Sod houses.</em>
