After the completion of first trimester that is 8 weeks of conception, the baby is almost 1 inch grown. At this stage, the baby is referred as fetus. At this stage, all the organs as well as limbs becomes visible except for the sex organs.

The heart of baby beats rhythmically. Eyes and the eyelids are completely visible. Both the forelimbs and the hind limbs are formed, and fingers buds are also visible.

At this stage, the fetus looks like a human. The umbilical cord is also clearly visible at this stage.

Given the roles of NAD /NADH in dehydrogenation reactions and NADPH/NADP in reductions, complete the sentence to explain why the
Strike441 [17]

Answer:

The  intracellular ratio of NAD+/NADH ratio is expected to be high because NAD+ act as coenzyme during the catalytic activity of various enzymes such as alcohol dehydrogenase.

Explanation:

The ratio of NADP/NADPH should be low that means the intracellular level of NADPH shouls be greater than NADP.It is because NADPH is used in many biosynthesis process such as fatty acid biosynthesis.

On the other hand NADPH is used as coenzyme during the catalytic activity of glutathione reductase. This catalytic activity of glutathione reductase is very much important to neutralize the toxic effect of reactive oxygen species.
