An obtuse angle is an angle that is more than 90 degrees (a right angle). So Anywhere from 91 degrees to 179 degrees is an obtuse angle. 180 degrees would be a straight line. An acute angle  would be anywhere from 1 degree to 89 degrees.

An easy way to remember this is to use your index finger and your thumb. When they are close together you can think of a cute little bug, such as the acute angle. When your fingers make an L then you an think of it being a right angle ( Right being the opposite of left). Lastly you an think of your fingers being longer than a right angle as an obtuse elephant.

This helped me a whole lot when i was in 6th and 7th grade and i hope it helps you too.

Devin made 30 custom t-shirts to sell.He will donate 1/8 0f his total sales to a local charity. He sold all 30 t-shirts for $18
V125BC [204]

Answer:

Devin will donate <u>$67.5</u> to charity.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Devin made 30 custom t-shirts to sell.

He will donate 1/8 0f his total sales to a local charity.

He sold all 30 t-shirts for $18 each.

Now, to find the amount Devin donate to charity.

Total number of t-shirts = 30.

Each t-shirts sold at = $18.

So, total amount of 30 t-shirts sold:

30\times 18

=\$540.

As, Devin will donate \frac{1}{8} of his total sales to a local charity.

Now, to get the amount he will donate to charity:

\frac{1}{8} \ of\ \$540\\\\=\frac{1}{8} \times 540\\\\=\frac{540}{8}\\\\=\$67.5.

Therefore, Devin will donate $67.5 to charity.
