Answer:

10

Step-by-step explanation:

Simply do 4 + (-2) + 8, adding a negative number is equivalent to subtracting a positive number of the same value, so this is equal to 4 -2 +8. 4 - 2 is 2 and 2 + 8 is 10

Hey puddin could ya help me !?- What is the length of segment AB?
ycow [4]

Answer:

AB = 4\sqrt{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate AB using the distance formula

d = √ (x₂ - x₁ )² + (y₂ - y₁ )²

with (x₁, y₁ ) = A(6, 2) and (x₂, y₂ ) = B(0, 10)

AB = \sqrt{(0-6)^2+(10-2)^2}

     = \sqrt{4^2+8^2}

    = \sqrt{16+64}

    = \sqrt{80} = 4\sqrt{5} ← exact length

If there are 52 weeks in a year, how many more hours does a squirrel sleep in a year than a rabbit?
AveGali [126]

The squirrel sleeps 2548 hours more than the rabbit.

Difference of the numbers

Difference of the numbers means the result of subtracting one number from another.

Given,

If there are 52 weeks in a year,

Then we need to find how many more hours does a squirrel sleep in a year than a rabbit.

First, we have to find the sleeping pattern of squirrel and rabbit.

A squirrel spends up to 60% of its day asleep, which means that an average squirrel sleeps for almost 15 hours each day.

Similarly, the rabbits are sleep six to eight hours each day.

So for one day,

Rabbit = 8 hours per day

Squirrel = 15 hours per day.

Then the sleeping hours for one week is

Rabbit = 8 x 7 = 56 hours

Squirrel = 15 x 7 = 105 hours

So, for 52 weeks, they spend

Rabbit = 56 x 52 = 2912

Squirrel = 105 x 52 = 5460

So, the difference is

=> 5460 - 2912

=> 2548

Therefore, the squirrel sleeps 2548 hours more than the rabbit.

Which theorem could kari use to show the measure of angle qml is supplementary to the measure of angle snk? (1 point)?
shepuryov [24]
Kari used the theorem of "Same-Side Interior Angles Theorem". The Same -Side Interior Angles Theorem states that, when two lines that are parallel are intersected by a transversal line, the same-side interior angles that are formed are supplementary, or add up to 180 degrees.
