The right answer is non rebreather.

A non-rebreather mask (NRB) is mainly used to provide oxygen to treat hypoxia, in which arterial blood oxygen saturation is less than 90 percent.

Non-rebreather masks offer an increased level of moisture towards the nasal passage, which can become inflamed and irritated with prolonged oxygen treatment. Increased humidity also increases the patient's respiratory secretions.

f a protein is coded for by a single gene and this protein has six clearly defined domains, which number of exons below is the g
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is C) 8 exons.

Explanation:

If we assume that each domain matches with an exon, and we have a 6 domain protein (domain= the functional regions of the protein that include the active site), there must be at least 6 exons in the gene. Also, remember that exons include the 5'- and 3'- untranslated regions or UTR. So, assuming that each unstraslated region is equivalent to an exon, there must be at least 8 exons in the gene (6 exon for each domain and one 2 exons for UTR).

Anyway, be careful, because this is a simple exercise where we assume a lot of things. In the real world, the first exon tends to include the 5'-UTR and it is already proved that one exon is not always equivalent to one protein domain.

Afforestation in the direct opposite of deforestation which is act of cutting down and destruction of forest trees. Trees are important part of our natural environment which plays economic, biological and chemical roles in the lives of the masses. Most notably, forest trees acts as carbon sink which in turn reduces depletion of the ozone layer. Even though their are economic derivatives in the cutting selling of forest planks for various purposes, tree planting culture must be legislated in other to avoid excessive use of forest reserves.

What is the main difference between aerobic respiration and anaerobic respiration?
garri49 [273]
The main difference between aerobic respiration and anaerobic respiration is that aerobic using oxygen in the reaction, while anaerobic does not.

Even though both aerobic and anaerobic respiration releases energy, but their reactants and other products are completely different.
For example in human, in aerobic respiration, oxygen and glucose reacts to give out carbon dioxide and water; while in anaerobic respiration, which usually happens during exercise when oxygen is not enough, the muscle cells uses only glucose to produce energy and lactic acid.

Therefore, the main difference is where aerobic uses oxygen, and anaerobic don’t.
